Terms and Conditions

Submission of an Enrollment Form and deposit for a tour is confirmation that you have read and agree with the Terms and Conditions set forth below.

 

The terms and conditions set forth below apply to all persons and for all tours conducted by Dream Tours To Go unless otherwise specifically stated on our website or by written agreement.  Each tour provides specific information about that tour and if certain terms and conditions differ from those here, then the details of that specific tour takes precedence over any other. No person other than those lawfully designated has the authority to add or delete any content to this web site.  It is the participant’s responsibility to read and understand the description of the tour they select as certain criteria may be different from another tour.

 

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are not considered final until a deposit and enrollment form have been made and accepted by the company including documentation required by TSA.

 

PRICES

Prices are per person based upon shared twin room occupancy. The total price of any tour is included within that tour description.

Prices are subject to change when costs from a supplier, e.g. an airline or cruise line changes or a government tax or fee is imposed prior to our departure.  If this occurs, you may cancel the tour within 10 days of being informed of the increase and receive a full refund.

DEPOSIT

A deposit is required to reserve a place on any tour and that deposit amount will appear within the tour description on our website,

REFUND

A full refund will be made for any reason if the participant notifies the company within 5 consecutive days of the company receiving the deposit that he/she does not want to travel on the tour, unless otherwise stated in the tour description. Cancellations after 10 consecutive days will result in a $100.00 fee and cancellations occurring 31 days after receiving the deposit will result in a $300.00 fee 

PAYMENT

50% of the total price of the tour must be received by Dream Tours To Go no later than 120 days (4 months) prior to departure of the tour.  FINAL payment of the entire amount must be received by Dream Tours To Go no later than 60 days (2 months) prior to the departure date. 

 

LATE PAYMENT

If there is an outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date, all travel services will be subject to cancellation. A service reinstatement fee of $50 will be added to your amount owed and must be paid in advance to apply for reconfirmation of services.

 

CANCELLATION

A schedule of cancellation fees follows: Please see Insurance paragraph below

Cancellation from 31 days after making deposit to 89 days prior to departure results in a $300.00 fee

Cancellation 90-61 days prior to departure date: 25% of cost

Cancellation 60-30 days prior to departure date: 50% of cost

Cancellation 29-7 days prior to departure date: 90% of cost

Cancellation 6 days or less to departure date: 100% of cost
 

CURRENCY FLUCTUATION AND EXCHANGE RATES

Prices are based on foreign exchange rates effective on January 2 of each year. If the exchange rate increases more than 7% from that rate, the participant agrees to pay any amount over the 7%.

 

AIR TRANSPORTATION

Most tour prices include the cost of air transportation with all flights originating and ending in Charlotte, NC unless otherwise stated in writing. Seating is in coach or economy class.  You can pay an increased cost for upgrades or selected seating, e.g. aisle or bulkhead as availability allows.  Those wanting to alter or cancel their reservations are subject to airline rules which may result in additional cost or penalties. Dream Tours To Go is not responsible if an airline cancels, delays, re-routes, or re-schedules any flight for any reason. If the participant misses a flight due to his/her own doing, it is the participant’s responsibility to make flight arrangements at his/her own expense, that will allow him/her to continue the tour. Also, it is the responsibility of the traveler to adhere to all rules and regulations of the airline including baggage restrictions.

TOUR CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES

Dream Tours To Go reserves the right to alter any part of the tour due to unanticipated or changing circumstances.   In such an event, the company will make every reasonable effort to provide an equal or better substitute for any part or parts altered.

Dream Tours To Go further reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour for any reason, including insufficient enrollment for a particular tour. If any tour is canceled or rescheduled the client is entitled to a full refund.

 

PASSPORT

Travel documents are the responsibility of the traveler as well as compliance with custom regulations. It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain a valid passport and any visas required for any tour at his/her own expense. It is the responsibility of any non-US citizen to obtain a valid passport/visa and any other documentation that may be required to travel on a tour.  A United States passport should be valid at least 6 months beyond the return date of a tour to the US.

 

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION

The company will inform the traveler of any documentation required other than passport or visa and it is the responsibility of the traveler to provide that information to Dream Tours to Go or appropriate authority.

 

SPECIAL NEEDS

It is important to understand that laws of other countries governing people with special needs can be quite different than those of the United States. Guarantees cannot be given that people with special needs will receive the help and protection they would normally expect at home. The traveler should state in writing what accommodations are required when submitting the enrollment form and the company will respond in writing what to expect.

 

INSURANCE

Dream Tours To Go strongly urges all travelers to purchase a travel insurance policy which is NOT included in the total tour package price. For your protection Dream Tours To Go recommends insurance coverage for accident, baggage, trip interruption / cancellation.  Additional information is available for this coverage and will be supplied to you upon request.  To receive insurance protection information, you must request it on the enrollment form or in writing within 10 days after enrollment.  If the traveler does not have travel protection, any incidences requiring medical assistance or evacuation is the responsibility of the traveler as is any loss of or damaged possessions.  Dream Tours To Go assumes no responsibility for the suspension or termination of part of the tour due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Dream Tours To Go.

 

NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR PRICE

Passport costs, Visa fees and/or health documentation costs when required. Beverages with meals, other than what is stated in a specific itinerary, optional sightseeing and personal purchases, insurance coverage, personal tips to drivers, guides, and others rendering special services, laundry, telephone, room service, etc. and transportation from your home to city of tour departure.

 

LEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REMEDIES

Dream Tours to Go sole business is to plan, arrange and offer tours to individuals and groups. The company itself does not provide any goods or services during a tour unless previously stated in writing. All such goods and services are provided by numerous, independent contractors such as but not limited to airlines, railroads, coach service, hotels, and food services. Dream Tours To Go is not responsible or liable for the goods or services provided or not provided by an independent contractor. Except for the willful negligence of its employees, Dream Tours To Go assumes no responsibility for any injuries, inconveniences, illness, irregularity or incidental damages occasioned by circumstances beyond their control. Or, by any person or reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to events such as strikes, revolts, wars, natural disasters, closures of airports or hotels, default or omission of any common or private carrier or the default, negligence or omission of, by any third party providing services or facilities related to or included in this tour or any part thereof, or in arranging for the same, or the acts or omissions of the tour host. By accepting tickets, receipts, etc. you agree that neither Dream Tours To Go nor any of its representatives shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage to your belongings or otherwise in connection with any accommodations, transportation or services.

The tour becomes a binding contract when your deposit and enrollment form are received and accepted by Dream Tours To Go. In the event that a dispute should arise between a traveler or travelers, and Dream Tours To Go, both parties agree to submit to arbitration under the jurisdiction of the state of North Carolina.

This contract shall be governed by the laws of the state of North Carolina.

 

PRIVACY

Dream Tours to Go is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We use information provided to us by our customers as part of an ongoing sales and marketing process, and to notify you of new tours and special offers. You may elect to opt out by contacting us via email, telephone, or with our Contact Us form.  Additionally, Dream Tours To Go may publish pictures of tours which may include photographs of participants in that tour.  If you wish not to have your photo published, for any reason, you may inform the company of your wishes by contacting us via email or our contact form on our website.
